Welcome to your psychedelic Crochet Society box designed by Kate Heppell! The theme of this box has been inspired by Desiderata, a prose poem written by American poet Max Ehrmann in 1921. It gained great popularity in the 1960s and 70s, with millions of prints being made and sold worldwide. Kate drew her inspiration for the words you’ll find throughout the box. She was then inspired to embrace the psychedelic vibes of the 60s when the poem was popular, with the fun and funky designs which are seeing a huge resurgence in popularity again now.

Our patterns this month are all about creating something bright and bold, ready for Summer.
